Hounds have a remarkable enthusiasm for life.  They are athletes and endure a great deal in order to provide us with sport.  I find I learn something new every time I go out with hounds, and I have vowed that the day I think I know it all is the day I will cease to hunt hounds. What sets hounds apart from many humans I know is their ability to be pleased to see me every single day no matter what kind of day I am having. They have huge hearts, and I wouldn’t trade my life with hounds for the world.
